Cryogenetics Services Inc. opens newly renovated laboratory in Oyster River
After a period of reconstruction the new Cryogenetics laboratory in Oyster River is ready for operation.
The laboratory is constructed on modern principles for cryo-biology and biosecurity when receiving fish milt for processing. It has the capacity for serving the Canadian West Coast aquaculture industry as well as conservation programs.
An integrated storage facility is part of the set-up, giving the clients a safe and cost effective way of storing the cryo-preserved milt.
