Zebrafish – small fish gives big opportunities
Cryogenetics are developing a procedure to cryopreserve Zebrafish embryos. This pioneering work was featured in the Norwegian television news on January 18th. You can watch the report below.
Zebrafish are used in research laboratories worldwide with different intentions. Among those is research on human diseases an important activity. Cryogenetics’ technology on cryopreserving Zebrafish embryos (fertilized eggs) will then be a valuable contributor to the work in developing new medicines to humans.
Last week Christian Lawrence, the fish facility manager at Childrens Hospital in Boston visited Cryogenetics in Norway to learn more about this developing technology.
