SquarePack® – one of a kind
Milt is kept and distributed in the SquarePack® patented container. Cryogenetics can produce up to 15–20 SquarePacks® per collection limited by male reproduction capacities. One SquarePack®can fertilize 2,000 eggs, giving each collection a total fertilization potential of 30,000 to 40,000 eggs.
Collected milt is diluted to standard concentrations to obtain an optimal sperm/egg ratio. The volumes of milt per frozen unit are adjustable according to the specific needs.
Cost saving logistics
The collection, freezing thawing and fertilization processes can be manned by Cryogenetics or internal staff by your own choice. Storage options are on-site or as a Cryogenetics surveilled storage service with on-demand distribution to local fertilization sites. Large scale nitrogen containers make storage more cost effective due to purchase gains on nitrogen and containers.
The decisive cryo curve
Cryogenetics has developed a unique set of cryopreserving curves, neither matched nor copied by anyone. The cryopreserving curve – how you proceed to reach the storage temperature of -196°C – decides the overall success of the milt in the final fertilization. Only Cryogenetics has cryo curves tailor made for species and situations.
